Here comes the video of 1957 Chevrolet 3100

An action from last year was to make a Gopro clip of my 1957 Chevy truck. So thanks to my friend Ümit's push, we finally did the shootings together yesterday. Enjoy :)

2013 Spring came fast

So spring is here and time to get the cars of our garage. Unfortunately, 51's engine block has two cracks after my brothers wedding, most probably it was already there but repaired. So again will spend time in repair shop.

And here is my 57 with its new sunvisor, with my wife Defne and son Doruk.

On saturday, my brother Sinan and his spouse Özge have got married and i was the driver for their wedding car... The day & outcome was quite enjoyable, so sharing it:

Classic Car gathering at Anıtkabir

AKOD has organised a gathering at our beloved leader Atatürk's mouseleum Anıtkabir, on August 30th (Victory day of Independance War). 70 classical cars drove in convoy to Anıtkabir and displayed their cars along with a visit to Atatürks grave.

To translate shortly, they were referring to my acquisition of 2 new classics in 2012 (1951 Deluxe Belair Coupe and 1957 Truck) and my 1955 which i own for 18+ years now.

1957 Chevy 3100 Pickup Restoration Final - 3 (Aug 2012)

So this is the final (3rd) article about restıration project before i will publish final photos, hopefully in a few weeks.

It took a little while to get the truck painted at the shop, because of overload. However it has been painted finally in good quality. I modified the color from Sikkens 466 to 467, so one tone lighter blue. Inside stayed as i chose, coffee w milk color what we call in Turkish.
