It took a little while to get the truck painted at the shop, because of overload. However it has been painted finally in good quality. I modified the color from Sikkens 466 to 467, so one tone lighter blue. Inside stayed as i chose, coffee w milk color what we call in Turkish.
The original radio i bought from Ebay, didnt fit into the dashboard because of wiper motor, so i took out the case of the radio, now its OK. I didnt yet try if the radio is working or not.
The seats have been also covered with beige cloth and fake letter mixture. The door armrests have two pieces, plastic and leather. Plastic is painted to inside color and leather part is replaced by seats color.
Locks and window regulators were problemlematic, so they have been repaired. Windows and all final accessories including bumpers, mirrors, emblems, license plate are installed. I used my original grille and chromed it as seen below. Its now in acceptable shape, although not perfect.
Power brakes are installed, keeping the drum-drum setup. I bought it from ebay, made for under floor installation. However, it required serious modification, pedal etc doesnt fit the truck as advertised. Another new information is to use Residual Check Valve of 10 lbs for drum brakes. Its a small piece to be installed on the brake line to keep constant pressure of 10lbs on the brakes, hence minimising the pedal trip and your effort to brake. For discs, 2 lbs to be used.
I ordered the horn cap, but then its understood that i need more parts to fit it, i found the sketch below:
And here are the final photos of the truck:
great trucks..i love big trucks, i easily get attracted to big trucks..
